Motivation...get two full length mirrors on opposite walls, stand naked between them and look at yourself...ask yourself is this the way you want to be.

Motivation... Can you run up and down two flights of stairs without being out of breath and quick recovery (don't try if you have medical conditions that effect joints and chest)

Motivation...you've spent the money on an exercise bike...time to use it. Go for a 10 min walk before and after to warm up and cool down

It's so cliche but fake it until you make it, get out there and just start exercising, after a week or so, you'll miss it if you don't. Also, a motivational wall is great! Just pick a place where you can hang pictures, a certain item of clothing you want to look great in, photos of people with great bodies that you want to work toward, quotes, anything that motivates you, hang it up.
I also know people that put money in a jar every time they work out, then after say, 100 workouts, they treat themselves; clothes, manicures, massage, anything like that.

Check out your local YMCA for group fitness classes. Seeing folks of all different ages working out is very encouraging and a motivator for me. You will then get some socialization with others. Walking is good too!

First, start recording your food vs activity. Record everything for a time period to get a real good idea of how much you actually eat. Many are surprised how many calories they consume compared to activity. Otherewise, you could be like many and exercise but then eat all those calories and the net result is nothing and you don't lose weight and you get frustrated and quit.

When you can do level one reasonably easy, go find level two. Then level three if you haven't joined a gym by then. Very Happy

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

The mirror test is good. You get to see yourself the way other see you. Also it gives you a better perspective rather than looking down your body. Looking down will always make your belly look bigger lol

If you like T.V get a hula hoop or weights and workout while watching it. Then you aren't giving anything up either! Any moving is better than sitting.

I read this article and this may help you as it did me
"A nice easy walk will improve your health
"Sitting for long periods of time — when you don't stand up, don't move at all — tends to cause changes physiologically within your muscles," saysPhys Ed columnist Gretchen Reynolds
"You stop breaking up fat in your bloodstream, you start getting accumulations of fat ... in your liver, your heart and your brain. You get sleepy. You gain weight. You basically are much less healthy than if you're moving
If you can stand up every 20 minutes — even if you do nothing else — you change how your body responds physiologically."
You will lose weight, you lessen your chance of heart disease, and you will improve your brain. But if you can do nothing else, stand up!"
Even wiggling your toes or figeting— has a cumulative effect on body weight
If you really want to treat your body right you should try to drink small gulps frequently, particularly while exercising.
