Just added a new food to the database and clicked the option to add a photo, which brought me to a different screen. On the new screen I clicked the option (again) to "add photo +". Doing so simply reloaded that page. I couldn't find any way to add the photo elsewhere.

Help?

So, no one knows how to add a photo to a product? I can't, for whatever reason, achieve to do so -- after hitting the add a photo button.

The only way I've seen to do it is through the mobile app, but that can't be right.

I've also tried to add a photo to foods I've added in Firefox and IE browsers. The option just doesn't work.

I guess if the tech support didn't answer in 2013, they're not gonna answer now! Someone should scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the 'contact' button and ask how to do this....??

Dont know if that would get a helpful response either. I have been in contact with them recently & it has been ongoing & the response has been they see no problem on there end could, I offer more detail? I respond with more detail asking if there is anything that can be done on EITHER end that WILL fix the problem. Its a merry go round, sad to say.

I received a reply to the problem of uploading a photo. Here it is:

Hi JKJ1961,

Many thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience.

You're unable to add a photo to the product Augason Farms Long Grain Brown Rice as it is not an approved food in our database. Only on approved foods are you able to submit photos.

We appreciate your patience and wish you well.

"approved foods"? How are they defining "approved foods"?

I have no idea. I replied asking them that. We'll see if they answer.

Here is their answer:
"Approved foods are foods that can be found in our database by all users, through search. All users are able to create foods but they will not appear in the database for all users. These foods are often found through Google."
