I entered a few recipes a long time ago, and they are still listed as "pending." Pending what? Does anyone know the details about when they go "live?"

"Pending" means that you've entered it for your own personal use.

"Awaiting approval" means that you've submitted it for inclusion in the sitewide cookbook.

"Approved" doesn't really exist as an explicit state, but it happens when your recipe is approved for the sitewide cookbook.

Recipes will sit in pending forever, unless you deliberately share them. If you ever want to edit the recipe then don't do that, since once they're shared you can't change them.

SnaveDogg, I wouldn't share your recipes if you ever need to edit them. I submitted one over a year ago and it's still waiting to go "live". I've since realized I made an error but because it's status is still "Awaiting Approval" I can't edit it.

If you would like to edit them all you have to do is go to the contact us at the bottom of the page and send the website a message and they will fix it so you can edit it. All they need to know is the name of the recipe that you would like to edit. I did this a few days ago and it worked great!

I have submitted recipes and it has been months awaiting approval. Also, when I entered the ingredients in the order used, the recipe program jumbles them all up, or it won't have the correct measurement (1 serving vs. 1/4 cup). Frustrating! Needless to say I won't be submitting any more recipes, just use them for personal use for nutritional counts.

Disappointing.
Thanks Diablo. I am in it for the long haul. It is just this early in the process, with such a lot to lose, a good second week would have perked me up.

Sugar
If "progress" is believing that sugar=cyanide, I don't think it would be good for my mental health to change.

Glaun has good advice. No one can help you without knowing your plan. The ratios will vary depending on your plan. What is your plan?

Yes! Body weight is not a very efficient measurement of body composition.
