Hi fellow dieters, healthy people!!! I just joined this month, and I am looking for some moral support. I have already lost about 60 pounds on my own, and with the help of TOPS. I have over 190 pounds left to lose. If you have been where I am, and are successfull, I want to be your buddy.

No, TOPS is Taking Off Pounds Sensibly. Its a support group, and we follow our own individual plans. I am really enjoying it. We meet once a week. We are held accountable for our weight. Look it up on the internet, I bet there is a chapter in your area!! Can never have too much moral support!!

Katuchi, I think the fact that somebody besides me is holding me accountable is really helping. I am feeling good, and so much better. I just keep thinking about how bad I was feeling, and that's almost motivating enough. I have two girls, 7 & 11, and they have so many things to do in life, and I want to see it all! I don't have time to waste! I have to make everyday count! And, that's what I'm doing and have been for 3 and a half months! My life quality is not what I want, and for a second I forgot that I deserve to be happy. I just need to keep it one day at a time.Wink

Great job! So far on this diet I have lost 51 pounds total..I'm not doing tops but I'm right along there with ya ...I have 145 pounds more to lose before I reach my goal weight. Which at this point is discouraging , but one step at a time! Good luck with your weight loss ...keep up the great work!

HI Peggy, thanks for your advice. I started with a week around 1000 but that was just to shrink my stomach and kill my "greed"! (See food, eat food...) This week I seem to be averaging 1200 and ...

Weight loss buddy
Well, LoveMyKittie, we are close to the same age which should make it a lot easier to support each other. I'd be happy if I could lose 25 lbs although 60 would be ideal. I just started counting ...

Alternate Fasting
I did alternate fasting from June until Thanksgiving. I lost about 20 lbs. Not sure why I stopped other than to blame it on a new job I started in October. I'm still striving to start up again but ...

Looking for someone with similar statistics :)
That sounds a little thin to me. You are already at the bottom of your healthy BMI range. Concentrate on the health aspects of your life, not the physical. At that weight, I'm sure you already look ...
