For some reason I want to munch on everything in sight and I am not talking about the healthy stuff I am talking about the Cheetos n BBQ chips, n chocolate Donuts huh. This is going to be a long Freaking journey for me!!! Help I munched so much that I cant even afford to eat dinner because the amount of calories I ate in junk food amounted to my dinner SMDH!! Oh well at least I know better than to eat anything else for the rest of the night.

Hang in there and know that tomorrow you get to start all over. You just have to ride this wave out.

Can you get rid of the Cheetos, chocolate donuts, etc, so they're not there to tempt you? They're not good for anybody, including those you might live with. Our self-control is lowest in the evening - things you resisted all day are harder to resist at night. If they're not there, you won't eat them.

It happens occasionally. As Lynneee6 said tomorrow is another day. Adjust your calories down.

This may sound a little rude, and I apologise in advance. But I've quickly scanned the last few days of your diet calendar (and if you are recording everything you ate as it says) you might have binged because you are eating so little. Both in calories and simple quantity.

I realise if you look at my diet calendar you will see that over the few weeks I've had numerous days as low and lower in calories than yours so I'm not going to claim to be very good at this myself (though that said I had this realisation yesterday and will be working to correct this behaviour from now on), but even when I have very low calorie days there was still physically more food than you appear to be eating every day.

So for example if you take Saturday's dinner (and I realise you were at a restaurant so presumably were not able to cook for yourself at the time, it's just an example).

270 calories on chicken fingers.

1 skinless chicken breast (about 135g or 4.5/5oz) - 157cal
4 oz of butternut squash: 51cal
1 cup broccoli: 31
1 cup of carrots: 50
(raw weights and measures)

Total: 289

Season and dry roast the squash for about 20 minutes, season and add the chicken for another 30-40mins & steam the other veggies in the microwave for 3-4mins.

That's a full adult sized plateful of food vs a few thin strips of breaded chicken. For less than 20 additional calories.

Down from 60" waist jeans since June 21st 2012.

Still keeping to my 26" jeans, but they are too tight for comfort. too many tasty things in the US, and over Xmas.

I agree 100% with riocaz! If that was all I ate in a day my man would run screaming from me cuz I would be ready to kill everyone in sight! She is in starvation mode. Anyone that follows that kind of diet would not lose weight. I will also be the first to say, my choices are not always the best... but I eat what my limit is in cal every day if not a little more and I have still lost about a lb a day since I started this diet about 4 days ago. It's all about the choices you make! I would much rather have a lot of healthy food and feel full, than a lot of junk food and be starving the rest of the day. I had one of those days yesterday... I ate just under 1000 cal in snacks alone and my dinner pushed it over a little, but I would much rather go over a little than not eat at all. You lose energy that way and then burn less cal overall.

I can't imagine what the "2 days a week 800 calories, no fruit!" challenge is gonna be like at the same time as doin the "Starting to run and get fit" challenge. Guess I will just have to get creative with my choices, but I plan to stick to it to the best of my ability.

Good luck and best wishes to all out there tryin to lose weight! I am fighting the same battle as you and support helps a lot! If anyone wants to chat, feel free to add me as a buddy as I am new to My FatSecret Smile

Well to be fair Mig0417, they may not be recording everything!
That 2 days a week challenge sounds similar to the 5:2 diet. If you've not come across it google it for really nice low calorie recipes/meal plans to give you some ideas Smile
