For the past 3 years, I have been wanting to lose weight. This is the year I will make it happen! Every since I had my 3rd, and youngest child, and quit smoking, I have been trying to lose, and only managed to gain. I gained 40 lbs in 3 years! This year I want to lose at least 20 lbs. I am hoping using this site, and having support will help me achieve that goal! And I would love to find some buddies along the way Smile

I haven't lost 20 lbs yet but I am on my way. I know it can be done. I am hoping to lose 30 by the end of the year. I'm not putting any pressure on myself. I have come across some stumbling blocks: Atkins Bars are not for me. Discovering that and correcting put me behind schedule about 8 days. And exercise is not an option. I read somewhere that if one strove to get their heartrate up for 3 mins 3 times a day that was better than nothing. Some days that's about all I can manage. Good luck. I am usually around if you need a buddy but I don't post much. Good Luck. You can do it. I know I can too.

Whew!! I finally begun.

Ladies, thank you so much. This is exactly the kind of motivation I need! And Margie, if working out is next to impossible for you, you should check out a workout called classical stretch. It is wonderful! Its for everyone, with every body type. Weather you are fit, or not, it makes your body feel wonderful and takes away aches and pains from many ailments. Just look it up. Meanwhile, I am still surviving Jillian Michael's. LOL
