In regards to weight watchers, all it appears to be (I'm not positive) is a fancy way to count calories which this site does for you for free. Doing it yourself helps you learn the energy content of your food to establish a long term change in habits.

The trick is to get a food scale, be accurate in measure, and honest with yourself. It just takes a little time and effort.

Good luck in whatever you pursue.

WHY THE SCALES LIE
Strongly agree. I have been at the same 208lbs. for the last 3 days even though I was 205 4 days ago. My pants are falling off, however. The mirror and way my clothes fit are the real story.

This is a good starting point, but you really need an exercise plan to maximize the results. Even if it is just walking. Get moving!
