Rules...

a) No "You'll only put the weight back on" comments
b) When talking about side effects balance out the massive health negatives of staying obese
c) no making stuff up !!
It's a mater of choice, hard work and a bit of OCD !!

I've used phentermine about 15 years ago. Felt wonderful just started again yesterday and lookong forward to the boost of willpower it provides to get back on track. That's. What it means to me.

A coworker of mine is taking phentermine (or some variation) she said the only side effects she gets are intense jitters if she does not eat and immense anxiety. The positives though, she is dropping weight at a steady rate, she said it curbs appetite, and she feels a boost of energy. She is however under close supervision of a doctor because it does/may affect your heart, if her blood pressure is too high he will not write another prescription. She is a 38yo white female with maybe 50-80lbs to lose, she is a very short lady so that's just me eyeballing it. I hope the info helps. In my opinion, don't do anything that can affect your health if you can help it. If you are at a weight high enough that it is seriously affecting your health, you have to weigh your options. I could risk losing weight slow and steady to get to a healthy weight or I could risk a "quick fix" (pills, surgery) I think its about being honest with yourself and consulting with a doctor or others who have done both to consider what is best for you.

I used phentermine for a small amount of time. At first i was excited about it but as the side effects of headache, dizziness and sickness on my stomach started to arise I didnt like that feeling so I quit taking them. It does curbs your appetite and yes you loose but i just didnt like feeling those side effects especially after was diagnosed with high blood pressure and had to take those pills. Sometimes loosing so quickly and paying and doing all the things just to loose those pounds are not as healthy. So i'll continue to just stay focus and determine because I need my life.

I'm sure most doctors probably don't want to mess with it since it does require a watchful eye over the patient. It also doesn't have the best reputation. Is there a particular reason why you're interested in it specifically?
