I wonder if the calorie counts shown here are accurate.

Here's what shows up:

1 cup Frozen Strawberries 222 calories

1 cup Strawberries Unsweetened in Water Pack (Cooked or Canned) 51 calories

that just looks like a huge difference and I wonder if someone can explain.

USDA gives a one cup cal count from
32 to 74 depending on slicing vs. pureed.

I wonder if the frozen strawberries that show up here have sugar added and it doesn't show in the ingredients.

Here is the link that seems to be incorrect:

The only way to be sure to be correct is to measure your products raw on a scale. Everthing else is a bit guessing
Also here because people insert information errors can creap in so you have to be alert.

The cup of frozen strawberries I agree - looks like sugar was added. Is there an entry for unsweetened. In a cup strawberries would probalby take up the same volume raw as frozen so you could enter the number for raw unsweetened strawberries

Frozen strawberries that come in a block have a lot of sugar added to them. The ones frozen individually usually have none.

I would use this
because the source is USDA. Freezing them isn't going to change the nutritional content, they're still strawberries. I always look for the USDA listing on fresh produce. But if the package has a nutrition label, you can enter that info in the system.

Scroll to the bottom of the entry that you linked to and you'll see this:

"Contains these Ingredients:
254 g Strawberries (solids and liquids, heavy syrup pack, canned)"

There's your answer, right there. "Heavy syrup" is a polite way of saying "a boatload of sugar".
