What does the net cals mean on the calendar? Am I being really thick .

Its net carbs. They use it in the Atkins diet. It is carbs minus the fibre (i think)or something along those lines

I means net calorie loss or gain. It goes by what your used (exercise) and what you consumed. Green arrow down is good - it means you used more calories than you consumed.
