The only time I've really lost weight is when I've had the determination to do so. If I manage to get in the right 'head space' then I'm fine. Just having trouble getting there right now. I do 4 classes a week, so exercise isn't a problem. It's persuading myself that I don't want chocolate and crisps that is the biggest one. So far so good today though as I had a salad, yogurt and lots of fruit for lunch. It's the evenings that are my worst time.

I think it's a great idea. I always print out a picture of a bikini that I want to order and hang it on the fridge. It helps me keep a positive attitude and not give into my cravings.

Good idea. I also have a photo of me when I was heavier than now, that I hate, so that could be another to put on the fridge. I was ill 3 years ago and lost almost 3 stone, but it's been creeping back on and I want to loose it again.

How to log net carbs
I'm new to the website and today I added a slice of bread to the database. this bread has 8 carbs and 7 dietary fiber to make it 1 carb, but it still registers as 8 carbs on my macros. What do I do?
