Hot on the heels of my error with the chicken I am also confused becasue today I ate ONE OUNCE, yes, a tiny amount or red cabbage, pickled in a jar, and this site's calculator has logged it as a massive ten carbs -- half my day's allowance. Surely not?

Its not the cabbage. Its what they add to pickle it.

Read the nutrition information on the jar. Sometimes the information in the database is incorrect, or it may relate to a product different from the one you are eating.
Pickled cabbage does have a lot of sugar in it, but if the serving size was assuming you were going to drink the syrup, that would make a big difference, too.

Sensitive belly issue?
Try psyllium whole husks. You can get it at Vitamin Shoppe and probably most drug stores. Has 5 carbs but also 5 dietary fiber and mixes with 8 ounces water. It is dry so it keeps well. 12 oz only ...

* on My Diet Calendar
jwill77nc2 is correct. Also, if there is NO asterisk (*) after the food or exercise then that number will not be counted in the Challenges and Contests and Mini Challenges this program offers.
