It's b/c the one you selected can be fried - you have to be careful when selecting meats and choosing how they are cooked. I would try to find a different chicken when searching here.

I had a quick look at your diet calendar...you've selected the battered version basically. So, unless you did batter it in bread crumbs or something like that there's probably a better option
. Carbs aren't from the chicken, it's the batter in that selection.
p.s. The USDA site is awesome (where that info came from) and there are definitely better options if you just fried it (which will also be on fs site, because they have imported the database from there:
http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/
). E.g.

DUH .... what a loony! I chose the battered chicken? Whoops, must have got confused with all those choices. Never mind, I will have to remember to change it when I input it next time. Thanks folks!

Sensitive belly issue?
Try psyllium whole husks. You can get it at Vitamin Shoppe and probably most drug stores. Has 5 carbs but also 5 dietary fiber and mixes with 8 ounces water. It is dry so it keeps well. 12 oz only ...

* on My Diet Calendar
jwill77nc2 is correct. Also, if there is NO asterisk (*) after the food or exercise then that number will not be counted in the Challenges and Contests and Mini Challenges this program offers.
