soon as i saw the word "drain tube", i knew this would end badly...
unless you have serious digestive/medical problems (which i hope is its intended purpose) this should be outlawed immediately.

No - it is being sold for weightloss - you eat your self silly - then pump it directly out of your stomach before it digests!!!

That's just plain gross! It seems that it would actually cause you to overindulge since there is no consequences - except maybe bolemia.

And once again that is not a lifestyle change and that person will regain everything. Sad that there are too many quick fixes out there but plain and simple a little hard work goes a long way and keep you healthier long.

OMG seriously?! So gross. Reminds me of some article last year where people were being fed only through an IV equivalent to some ridicolusly low # of calories a day. Cause walking around with an IV, or getting my stomach pumped, sounds like so much fun? I'd rather run 4 hours a day than submit myself to that!!!

That is pretty intense, but I can understand it being used as "pre-op" for bariatric surgery. It has to be hard for people who have made life-long poor food choices to drop the amount of weight needed to be healthy enough for the surgery. But I also agree, it does not promote a healthy lifestyle change. It does help some people to be able to quickly lose enough weight to get kicking, but it also ends up being perceived as a "magic bullet" so people usually gain back. As an extreme measure to help people on the verge of death get the surgery, I'm with it. As a diet plan, no no no.

changing the symptoms, but not the root of the problem. I think it's clear that our culture "craves" quick fixes.

I feel like this is one of those, 'blind leading the blind,' atrocities- something that leads one mental illness into another, holding hands and skipping along the way. Most over-eating is a disorder that should be treated with proper help and lifestyle changes, not something that could lead to encouraging other eating disorders when this short-term fix doesn't last more than a year after you've had that port sealed up. Seriously, though? -You're going to have a surgical port installed to dump your food out, because you couldn't control what you put in your mouth?!?! Seek professional help! Honestly!

I saw this earlier today, absolutely disgusting. Not the procedure itself, but the fact that the focus has shifted entirely from wanting to help obese people to change their life style and work on any emotional/mental issues they have that susequently led to them gaining all the weight to simply allowing them to eat whatever they want, hey, they can just pump half the meal out after 20 minutes anyway. What a wonderful world we live in.

Salad dressing
Your best bet is to make your own if you can. I haven't been able to find a store bought one without a bunch of sugar and additives, but maybe someone else has.
