should I avoid egg yolks? I've been told they are high in cholesterol and fat.

I have lost just over 5 kilos in 3 weeks and I try to have 3 eggs a day because the are high in protein.
There is a lady who started her own weight loss tips page on facebook and she has lost heaps of weight and she recommends eggs and she eats 6 eggs a day.
Start weight 20/04/2013 = 240kg Goal weight 120kg (total loss 120kg)

It won't happen over night, but if you don't give up it WILL happen.

They are high in cholesterol and fat, but that's not a bad thing.

I believe the latest science says that dietary cholesterol has almost no effect on serum cholesterol. Also, your body needs fats in order to function.

I eat lots of eggs, including yolk, and I don't feel any worse for it. I normally have around 3 eggs per day, mainly because they are so quick to cook if I need a snack. But then again, I am on a high protein diet so without eggs to snack on my life would be much more difficult! And for the record, I've lost around 36lbs since August and have always eaten at least 2 eggs per day Smile
