I've added recipes into My Cookbook on the fatsecret website and successfully logged them.

You can navigate to Recipes in the sidebar menu of the Android app but I can't find my recipes. Bug?

Thanks,
Jeremy

I wonder if Recipes are on their way out as a feature?
I think I'll use Meals to track collections of foods/ingredients instead of Recipes... if I can... trying now.

Over a year later this is STILL an issue. On the website I can add a recipe and use it as intended but if I try to modify that recipe on my Android 2.3.3 phone it crashes the app. Fix the feature or drop the feature. I used to be a MyFitnessPal fan but they dropped support for my phone. I switched to FatSecret (which seemed to work fine at first) in order to be able to use my phone. Maybe it's time for a new phone and a switch back to MyFinessPal...

P.S. I am a software professional. If I have a bug customers are complaining about I fix it right away. The fact that this one is 18 months old tells me that one of the following is true:

1) nobody is listening
2) nobody cares
3) the skills to fix it have left the building
4) we're not really customers because we haven't bought anything (see 2)

I'm also an IT pro and while I love this site, these minor tech issues are maddening. The banner ad revenue for this site should be substantial and should be reason enough to keep folks around.

Mine was kinda fixed with this last update. My app no longer crashes when I click on a recipe item in my food list. However, I still can’t add items from the cookbook to my food list without visiting the website. I am running Android Kit Kat on a Samsung Note 3.

I guess my options for workarounds are:
1) Buy a new phone and use MyFitnessPal
2) Use the "saved meals" feature to simulate the "cook book/recipes" functionality

Cheers.
