I'm amazed how many differing and completely opposite views there are when it comes to excercise advice, calories needed for a diet. Ii went to the doctor and asked his advice and it way generally low - moderate balanced calorie diet with moderate excercise.
He said your (my) goal shoul be improve (lower) blood pressure, gradually improve aerobic capacity, lower blood suger and remove excess fat. After all you (I) are not looking to train for the olympics.... if you want to do that then see me after youve lost weight and have a normal BP.
It's a mater of choice, hard work and a bit of OCD !!
