What does it mean after you place in exercise for the day if it has a down arrow before a number on the right hand side?

If you are talking about the Net kcal column, I believe that if there is a down arrow with a number it means that you are that number away from your calorie intake. For example, my RDI is 2200, today I have consumed 200 kcals and have burned 1934 kcals. Basically what that is saying, I believe, is that I am 1734 kcals below 0 after my exercise. Hopefully this isn't as confusing as I think I'm sounding! Hope it helps!

Sabra92...I understand what you are saying. A simpler way to say it that if there is a green down arrow that means you have burnt more calories that day than you ate. If there is a red up arrow you have ate more than your burnt. Smile

I interpret it the same as dshafer. The thing I sometimes forget is not entering my exercise so the net is zero and I think 'wow, I'm even for the day' and that fooled me on days I totally exceeded my RDI too much. For now I'm hedging the numbers a bit by putting it all in as sleeping 24 hours so I know anything over that is an extra surprising calorie burn.

I'm not losing WEIGHT. I'm converting FAT to MUSCLE to be healthier.

Yes, exactly what dshafer and FullaBella are saying. That number is the # of calories difference between your intake and your output.

If you ate more than you burned, it would be an up arrow and the number is HOW MANY more calories. Same for the opposite: down arrow's number is how many more you burned than ate.

As dshafer mentioned, the arrows are either green or red. Basically: green, good. Red, bad ...for weight loss, anyway - I know not everyone on here is looking to lose.
