I was doing better but as of last night I had to cook 4 pies and everytyhing else that comes with Thanksgiving I'm upset that I tryied to do good but then at the day I gave in ..... but I'm not going to get mad tomorrow will be a better day .....I feel so sick at this moment really really sick so I learned on thing I cant eat all the sweets any more or for that matter all the other stuff so I think any other gatherings will be else where till I can learn to control myself but one good thing I did I gave away all the leftovers and I mean ALL OF THEM so tomorrow will BE A BETTER DAY Laughing

Your body was on a sugar high! LOL .. It used to make me feel sick, too, whenever I would splurge on sweets. It was just too much for my body to handle. Hope you feel better! And good for you for giving away those leftovers!

Don't worry about it. It's one day out of many. It's always going to be hardest at those times with all that temptation around. But one day out of 365 can't do that much damage!

Well done on ensuring that it wasn't compounded by giving away the leftovers.

Thank you Angie yes it was a suger high lol but I do feel much better today but still dont want to eat anything just had a cup of coffee I did bring down the carb count from 5 or 6 to 3 yea!!!!! I will try to bring it down some more... thank you for keeping up with me and giving me feed back yea!!!!
@ RIOCAZ thank you and true enough it is only one day out of alot but for some reason I get them more than I need lol but I am going to try even harder to to this.....

Just found this post katmm...

You are not the only one who fell off.. As I said in a different post I did as well.. I wil have to give away my leftovers.. thought I would have some food here for the kids.. I might have too.. I can't stop thinking about the FOOD.. GEEESSHH!

When you said you are sick is your stomach upset? I know I was on a sugar high but no symptoms yet..

ANGIE I love the fact that your my FS Stalker because of that I'm doing better so thank you very much ....

@BBD5 I'm the same way if the food is here all I do is think of it ( when can I eat it ..I have to have it ..Oh my god give it to me ...how sad my mind sounds like its addicted to drugs) .....and yes my stomach was very upset it took two days I'm feeling alot better today and I'm sticking to Atkins....

I suggest finding a new strategy with dealing with social obligations to cook things you know you shouldn't eat and won't be able to resist. It is legitimate to tell people that you can't cook this year because of your diet. Or you can make up some other excuse. Let them deal with it. Perhaps there is something you can buy instead of make.
