I started using salsa on my green salads, and I am 98% positive that I will never go back to dressing. =)
Ditto that - It's CRAZY that the salad dressings often total more in calories and fat than the actual salad.
I liked the Salsa too but as my system has changed even the mild seems so hot it overpowers me from tasting the actual salad. Yes, I'm a wimp
Most of the time now I just use lemon juice -or- mix a teaspoon of spicy mustard into 1/3 cup of pickle juice to coat.
I do like the spice though so I'm trying to develop a low cal low fat wasabi type dressing too ~ different type of hot without numbing the tastebuds on my tongue.
