scientifically this should not be possible but I often find after doing a poo I weigh a pound some times 2 more than I did before.

Other people have said the same thing to me.....how is it possible?

News to me, I always weigh less after.

Been there - baffles me too. I always think about the Ron White joke that goes 'I'm one cr*p away from fitting into a smaller size jeans.'
If I've been constipated my scale eventually catches up but weighing immediately 'after' isn't the celebration moment I'd expected so I've stopped.

I'm not losing WEIGHT. I'm converting FAT to MUSCLE to be healthier.

Nope, sorry! never had that happen to me. As you said it can't be a true weigh-in. Something else must be causing it.

Otherwise Shock Shock Shock

42" jeans(25/01/2013) 40"(28/02/2013) 38"(20/03/2013) 36"(25/05/2013)
Down from 60" waist jeans since June 21st 2012.

Still keeping to my 26" jeans, but they are too tight for comfort. too many tasty things in the US, and over Xmas.

Onwards and Downwards! Smile

Hi, I read something about this a good while back & by all accounts it has something to do with a faulty scale.

Yep. Even without eating or drinking anything before. Baffling it is.

I never weighed more, BUT I have weighed the exact same. ...oddly enough, this only happens before I show a large weight loss.

Your scale sucks... simple. I had the same issue and bought a good one. Try stepping on your scale 5 times in a row. My old scale would fluctuate 1 to 2 lbs, my new scale only fluctuates 0.2 lbs if at all.

@PeeFat: Interesting name. You're absolutely right: crappy scales are crappy. She'd also probably notice that the reading changes as she changes foot position on the scale too. It's a design that isn't accurate, but easy to manufacture.

Interesting subject. I guess it would depend on how much your bowels actually release and wether or not there was more to come.
but weighing more is definately a crappy situation. LOL

Peefat was chosen because I started my weight loss doing Atkins. As your body burns fat for fuel, ketones are produced by your liver and the excess is urinated away.

My theory is you are s##tting antimatter. Market that as a diet supplement and the reverse will occur... weight loss when you eat it! A veritable gold mine.

I was wondering that myself. This morning I gained 3lb right after. LOL! I "googled" the issue and could find nothing. Or, nothing positive. I guess that's one of the mysteries of life.
