Hi all... I just got back onto this site this week, and when I lost all my weight before, I used FS, and I had some wonderful friends that I made - and I really think that's what got me through some of the hardest times, and really helped me push through and I was hoping to find some other buddies who like to be supportive, comment and talk and whatever, and I like to do the same... so... yeah Smile

My husband quit smoking 4 times before being smoke free for the last 30 years. I like to think of my back sliding as being one step closer to learning to make a lifetime commitment to healthy eating. Each time I learn a bit more about myself and what does and doesn't work. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes. when the dietician told me I couldn't afford to ever binge again, I ate 40 gingersnaps. Watching my blood sugar rise to the heavens worked better than anything anyone could ever say. I still have rebellion binges, but I find they're much smaller and I'm very motivated to exercise like crazy afterwards so I don't have to see any awful numbers. I'm terrified of dying at 55 like my aunt who developed kidney failure from diabetes. Would love to have and give support. Nice to meet you!

I'm so glad to hear from you all... I mean, ugh - trying to diet alone is a real challenge... there's no little voices in my head telling me not to NOT eat something... but I feel a bit responsible when I have friends on a site like this, like, I don't want to let anyone down! So I know we can push each other...

Sweet- It's really hard to have a wake up call like that but I know a few people who actually had some similar situations... sometimes it really takes a kick in the butt to get motivated, but I know you can do it!! Smile

Feel free to send a buddy request. I'm still "gearing up" on this page, trying to get better about posting journals and in the group I joined... and then also checking forums and trying to check buddies journals to lend them support... sheesh, it can be a lot of work but ya know what? It's so much better than dieting alone... I love talking to you all!

I also recently started using the site again. It's true; having more buddies here probably does keep you motivated longer. Not knowing anyone is what made me leave in the first place. So count me in for the support; I wish you the best!! Good luck. =)

I'm looking for some buddies also. Been with the FS for about a year but have not been on here since I started it. I got laid off from work a few months ago and so depression is sitting in. I worry that its going to cause me to gain instead of lossing.

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

I just came back today with 13lbs gained putting me at 20lbs from my goal... disappointed doesn't begin to describe how I feel. I need to get back on the bandwagon and I think constant support is the ticket! Also, how do I get one of those weight loss tickers?
