Eating Under My RDI

My RDI is 1800. I used to have difficulty remaining under that because of emotional issues and lifestyle habits. I went to my doctor and he diagnosed me with major depression. He gave me some meds that suppress my appetite but have also cleared my head. He isn't a doc that passes out uppers. He keeps me well balanced and I plan to discuss all this with him next month but I usually consume at most 900 calories per day and I am having difficulty fitting in fiber. I know what foods fiber is in and I am trying to do better, but is eating so few calories affecting me adversely? I have lost 16 pounds since my last visit which was about three weeks ago? I really cringe thinking of going over 1000. What to do?

Hi SuberWoman ~ I add Metamucil Clear and Natural to my shakes for added fiber Smile Plus I can't consume a lot of calories to make it to 1000 a day without adding junk food to my diet. Sucks!
