Hi to you all,
I came across this website and thought I'd have a look around. I do have a question but I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help.
My current situation is that I have lost 16 stones in weight, and for quite some time I have been having 1200 calories a day. I see a trainer twice a week and also go to the gym (can't say I really enjoy it but it's a necessary evil)... The problem is I am now not losing weight at all...touch wood I have never gained any but I'm just stuck!!!
Obviously something needs changing, but I can hand on heart say I definitely am not filling myself about my calorie intake and before it's said, and I do agree, the maths of energy in and energy out just don't make sense.. I know I should still be losing weight..
Any suggestions anyone, I really need some help.....

First-of-all 16 stones!!! WOW that's amazing work congratulations!!!
The only thing I can suggest is swapping it all about. If you have a routine of foods you generally eat week to week, find some new recipes and swap them about.
Same goes for exercise, speak to your trainer and get them to work you up a new routine, or go swimming instead of the gym.

Still keeping to my 26" jeans, but they are too tight for comfort. too many tasty things in the US, and over Xmas.

Riocaz is right, make a change, it will boost up your metabolism. Congratulations on such a big weight loss. Your body probably wants to rest now for a bit that's why you're in a platou. Just don't give up, some people here on fat secret say that they had it for months. Ah i hope i never get there. It must be very discouraging but stay strong

I fixed my plateau pretty quick, after i realized what the issue was. If you see a trainer (and work out) several times every week and only eat 1200 calories per day, then I'd say you don't eat ENOUGH. Your body might think that you're starving.
