I'm sure this has been posted before, but I want to re-ask it.

If today you could change one thing in your life what would it be?

would you rather be rich or healthy?
would plastic surgery bring you happiness?

my answers:
changing one thing would be mental stability
i would rather be healthy, i'm used to being poor in a monetary sense
plastic surgery could make me happier, but would that happiness last? probably not.

Just something to think about and ponder...

I think this question is a great one because it asks people to reflect on themselves. What would make me the happiest is to have less strife within my immediate family, then I think much of my weight and worry would melt away.

i'll be honest: it is a tough question to say if i prefer to be rich or healthy. i know i should say healthy. but i was poor. i had a lot of debts and it made me sick. physical and psychological. if you have more money, you have more possibilities of a healthier lifestyle....

but nevertheless, i would choose health.

What would make me happy? That is a tough one since there seems to be so many things wrong in life. But I guess I would have to say that having a stable ecomomy would make me the happiest. I don't need to be rich just enough to afford healthy foods and have a little extra after the bills are paid.
I'm thinner today than I was yesterday but not as thin as I will be tomorrow. One day at a time.

This is a difficult question. There are so many things you can say you would change, but would you. A persons past, character, experience, etc is what got you to where you are today. While some may be all for altering it, I question if I would be where I am at today? Would I have met my husband, would I have been blessed to give birth to 2 beautiful girls (one already in heaven), would I be the strong individual that I am today. I have already proven that I am powerful enough to lose the weight on my own: so no plastic surgery. As long as you stick to a budget, you should be able to survive finanically (remember more money, more problems Smile). I guess my health then. Not having to deal with the occasional bouts of colds and flus would be ideal.

I probably went a little deeper than the question may have intended you to, but I believe everyone is a powerful person and can achieve all of these things on their own.

Great question!
If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.-George W Patton

Great question and loving apatrick1's response.

There are many things that people assume I'd change about my life. However without those events to break my heart, turn my life upside down, and really make me assess my entire world view, I just wouldn't be who I am today, and I really like who I am today. So honestly, there is nothing substantive about my life that I would change. Sure, less idiots at work would be nice, and sure, it would be great if my neighbor downstairs stopped parking in my parking spot, but in terms of real, substantive matters, everything that has happened to me, is what makes me, me.

In terms of rich v healthy, I have to go with healthy.

I've had plastic surgery (a very long time ago now), to correct a physical birth defect. The surgery itself didn't make me happier, but the result gave my self confidence a boost, and that makes me happier.

Thanks for this question!
