To anyone who needs few encouraging words.....
Today may be someones first day. Today may be someones lowest day.. they realize that they hate the way they look. They see that number on the scale and think "how am i going to do this?"
In April that was my day. It was my lowest day. I reached a number on that scale that I hadn't seen other than being pregnant. I was closer to 300 pounds. I saw myself in 10 years and it wasn't pretty. I chose to stop. I chose to do something. I knew it was going to be the hardest damn thing I have ever done. It is harder than rasing 2 boys. It is harder than having money problems, vehicle problems, marriage problems. It is harder than being on my feet for 10 hours a day for days a week while I work in surgery. It is harder than assisting a surgeon on a open belly case (which I do.. Surgical tech is my job).
I see people on here who obess over a 10th of a pound. I have done this enough times to realize that I am not going to do that. I have come to realize that I love my body. I have stretch marks and sadly yes I have come to realize they are part of me. I see now my long legs that are taking shape. I see my face.. thinner. My shoulders are beautiful. My hips... ehhh not so much .. YET!
Today may be someones first day. It may be there lowest day. If today is your lowest day. You have a friend. I am. I will be your friend. I will give you an encouraging word when you need it.
Just start moving. Just drink water.. as much as I hated drinking water compared to my beloved Mt. Dew. DRINK WATER.
I have so much more to lose... but I know that where I started.. I thought I can't do it. Here I am 3 months later and yes I am doing it. I will do it tomorrow and the next day and the next.

I think we all have days that feel like our first day.. even though it may be our 100th day or our 10th day.

Very encouraging words. I'm struggling to lose. I've been down this road before. I had csection and tubes tide almost a year ago. Just can't lose and I'm trying to get the motivation once again to lose. No more babies for me. Four is plenty lol
And I agree I have all the motherhood trademarks plus being in my 30s. I know if I lose what I want ill be much happier and be ok seeing myself in mirror. I used too untill I had my last baby last year. It sux bc people I know who had theirs around time I did were skinny not long after. Not me wasn't blessec with that jean. But right now I'm feeling frustrate. This is my week to start trying. Moivation is the key and I want to be able to help in return

The encouraging words are definately heart warming.
I was never blessed to have children, but you'd think I had if you saw my abdomen. So for me they serve as a reminder of where I was that created them.
Two thumbs up to everyone who has gotten through the rough times and assisted a buddy going through theirs.

Can you do yogurt? A friend recommended to me plain yogurt with splenda mixed in. Maybe try that with some berries. I've been putting frozen raspberries in my protein shake.
