Hi, anyone else weighing them self every day??
I know I probably shouldn't but I weigh myself every day. I find it helps me stay on target.

I weigh just about everyday too. But only put it on the Calendar once a week.

I weigh once a week and that's when I record.

From what I have read, it doesn't matter much if you weigh once a day or once a week as long as you are tracking. If you weigh more than once a day, you aren't seeing any change that really matters and if you go longer than once a week, you aren't really tracking effectively enough. Otherwise, it's about what you can tolerate.

For me, I like to weigh once a week because I find I become too obsessive about my diet if I weigh once a day. Other people like to weigh daily because they feel it keeps them honest and/or motivated. What works for you is good enough.

When I'm even bothering to, I do weigh daily. I also keep in mind that it can fluctuate up to four pounds in one day so I don't freak if it goes one way or the other a few pounds. I just look at the over all trent. I'm just not consistent about it though. I'm currently on a daily weigh-in run though. Hopefully I can keep it up.

This is a problem I've had in the past and with the new commitment of weight loss that I started just yesterday, I am going to FORCE myself to only step on the scale once per week. I am doing Atkins, so this is difficult. Sometimes the weight loss gets so exciting that it's hard not to climb up on that thing right when I walk into the bathroom each morning...but this time I'm really going to try. I think it might be okay if every Thursday (my weekly weigh-in will be Sunday) I do step on and quickly assess my progress...just in case there is a rise in weight that will cause me to reevaluate what I've been doing wrong (or right!).

TOO MUCH I AM SURE. Weigh daily and find that fluctuation disturbs me. Am trying to just weigh once or twice a week, or learn to deal with fluctuations.
