Everyone has great ideas! I will chime in w the suggestion of the Portabella mushrooms. I hv just discovered them and they are my new best friend. Today I made a spinach pizza. Tomorrow I will make a tuna melt down. Next I will find some kind of shrimp to stuff them. Stuff it w shrimp or a meat n veggies mix might be wonderful on the grill
I make a French Fry substitute with French green beans. I just wash and throw on a grilling pan w holes for the grill. I roast them till they start to crisp. Then I dip them in a mustard and mayo sauce...nothing will ever replace my beloved FF nor should they, the roasted beans are just a yummy treat.
Looking forward..this will be your most difficult BBQ of the year to plan because you are on week 3. Your next BBQ will be easier to plan cause you will be a pro and have a better understanding of what net carbs your body does best on. So look forward cause it will not always be a week three for you! Big high five to you! Btw this is my week 3 too...OWL and keeping my nc to 20 per day. My first two weeks I was learning sooooo much, and this week I am actually applying it...I will increase to 25 nc next wk, only 5 per wk for me. I don't want any surprises.
