any exercise is good to get rid the of the belly fat, there are no ones better than other because there is no way of influencing where the body is getting the fat from

Any fast-paced cardio that revs up your heart is great for losing body fat. We cannot control where the fat will be lost from. As you lose fat overall, your belly fat will decrease. As for if you are getting enough calories, I'd say as long as you are able to function normally, then you are fine. Depending on your weight, the more overweight we are, the more excess energy we already have stored as body fat.

I have done most of my exercise on a stationary bike. It's been great for me.
Whether you get enough calories, I am not sure. Burning 900 cals on biking is quite a lot - how long do you ride every day?
You should maybe try to use the exercise diary along with your food log to calculate it. Your optimal place to be is to burn about 1000 calories more than you consume.

I hope this helps.

From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, and living healthy. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier!

We lose fat from the outside in. The last place we lose fat is our middle section.
There is no such thing as spot loss.
Burning 900 Calories a day on a recumbent bike when you are not fit is asking for trouble in my opinion.
You would do much better varying your activities, the last thing you want is to burn out and go back to square one. Even worse gain weight!
After years of triumphs and failures I have discoverd slow deliberate weight loss is the only way to make it stick.
Take your time and don't burn out. Smile

any exercise is good for burning calories, but to loose more around the belly, try core workouts.

Don't listen to people that think they know the right techniques for losing from a specific place. There is no aerobic exercise that Will burn fat faster or burn from a specific region. Your genetics determine where your trouble spots are. Sure, there are more intense exercises that Will force your body to burn more in a smaller amount of time but only do them regularly if you can maintain them for the long haul. Extremes are something you want to shy away from because the chance of failure is higher.
Love your food or risk failure. No quick fixes, this is a lifestyle change. No extremes are needed just consistency.

There are in fact special exercises for belly fat because each exercise stresses certain muscles in your body, so riding a bike for example will be more exercise to your leg than to your shoulders.
Some of exercises to lose belly fat that do not require equipments are:
Bicycle Exercise: Lay down on the floor on a supine position putting your hand behind your head and start as if you are paddling a bike but with your elbows.
Interval Workout: The basic idea here is if you exposed your body to intense exercise (or resistance) then give it less intense exercise then intense again, you work out your abdominal muscles and therefore reducing belly fat. This could be sprinting for 5 minutes then walking for 10 minutes and so on.
You combine all these exercises with low fat diet or more accurately focus on unsaturated fats rather than saturated ones. Unsaturated fats you get from olive oil which kills the bad fats you get from cooking oil). Knowing how to gain weight will help you avoid the foods that accumulate fats around your belly or under your arms so make yourself familiar with those kinds of foods to know what you up against.
Learn so you have better knowledge of foods that are rich in calories. This way you can build your weight loss diet yourself.
