Welcome D-Deneeka. If I have one piece of advice it's to stay active on this site and recording food. I know that is a key in my success. Good luck!

I'm going to parrot everyone else. Use the tracker to the fullest. Actually seeing the patterns in your diet helps in determining what contributes to success or failure even when the scale seems off kilter.

Good luck. I hope the trackers and the community here are what you need to reach your goal.

This site and app are amazingly helpful because it lets you observe your own habits and identify your problems. Its not a 'diet' like weight watchers, etc. its just a way to track your intake and burning of calories - which is honestly the only effective way to permanently lose weight. I wish you the best of luck! Keep checking in!

Coach said it. Record your calories. Be active on the Site. I dropped 140+ lbs doing it. If I can, anyone can. Welcome aboard.

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

As everyone else has said, keep active on the site -- it helps! I started my account a couple years ago, stuck with it for a few weeks, and then abandoned it because I got too busy -- I ended up gaining back what I lost, and much more. Now that I'm back, I think I'm doing better. I haven't lost much weight that I can tell yet, but just having to record the calories I'm taking in against the calories I'm burning through every day is keeping me on track and helping me create habits that I know will result in weight loss in the long run. So again, definitely, stick to it! And good luck! Smile
