How comfortable do you feel wearing sexy lingerie? I'm not and wish I was...Any suggestions?

I offered to put on sexy lingerie last night and he said the kids would be in soon. They brought me my Mother's Day present since they were so excited and couldn't wait to give me the newest iPad 32 GB with wi-fi. Would have been embarrassed if they saw me in what I was going to put on. Some what relieved, some what disappointed, about the lingerie, not the present. Ah, domesticity versus the erotic.
I want to spice up my sex life and yet feel hesitant to go into this realm until I lose the weight. It bothers me that my weight holds me back or is it something else. What if I do it, I'm out of my comfort zone and it doesn't work?

Ive had the same problum. my bf has a thing for bare legs and heeled boots and i tryed it once and walked out the room crying after seeing myself in the mirror. i felt disgusting. he just kept telling me i was beautiful.
but ur are the one that can change ur mind about how u look. i just keep telling myself that am sexy and confident and most of the time it works. over thinking is the worst part of weight loss

If you feel sexy, you will look sexy. Pick the one spot on your body that you love the most.
-If it is your legs, invest in a good old-fashioned garter belt and thigh high stockings. They NEVER go out of style, but are seriously sexy. Plus they can be paired with a skirted teddy or ensemble if you are wary about other parts of your body.
-If you love your tush (and if so, I'm jealous) go for those cheeky panties and some heels to give it that added oomph. If you want to cover your tummy or another area you can wear something loose but just sheer enough on top.
-And if your "girls" are your favorite - play them up and let them shine! Even just having a deep cut nightgown or robe that is longer will be beautiful, and with just enough showing I'm sure it wont last for long.
If you are still not feeling confident, I recommend looking into "Boudoir Photo Shoots." There are so many companies and photographers doing this now. It is designed to make women of all shapes and sizes feel unbelievably sexy, plus it gives them the proof in a photograph! The day usually consists of a stylist that selects just the right outfit and setting and then does hair and make-up to match. They are private, professional, and a total ego boost. Just make sure you don't find a photographer on Craigslist

Thanks for all the suggestions and I'm not sure why it's so hard for me even when I was thinner and younger. I remember a boyfriend finding sexy lingerie in my drawers and encouraging me to wear them. I wouldn't come out of the bathroom. He thought I looked great and actually the sex was amazing, perhaps the whole struggle was a turn on. I don't know. I want to be that person, I believe I am that person who wants to look sexy and yet it's just so out of my comfortable zone which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I have these outfits, garter belts, pretty camis, cute ruffled panties, etc. but it's just not working for me now. Maybe it's the weight or maybe it's about my sex drive right now. Maybe I'm hoping if I act that way I will feel that way. Maybe it will.

I tried it once and my wife was quite nervous! Apparently showing her my entire collection, despite my assurances that they were made for a 260 lb soulmate did little to improve her mood.
On a serious note and as a husband I can say I enjoy it when my wife wears the stuff. She is far too Critical of her own body. If she relaxes and lets us both enjoy the moment then we both do enjoy it.

Thanks Preacher for that note of confidence and a man's point of view. Much appreciated.

Need suggestions on healthy/low-calorie foods.
I'm reading this while eating some absolutely delightful fresh melon for breakfast. If the melon isn't soft enough on its own you could add it to a fruit smoothie.
