Well im almost thirty, I need to lose 80lbs (sounds horrible as i write it) I live in WA, have 2 young boys and im a hermit
I have lots of aquantances but have a social phobia that makes it hard to be around people, so i Hate to be active in front of anyone, (OMG what if they see my fat roll?) I wanted to introduce myself andtry and connect with someone that would be in helping each other to be motivated, thank you

welcome! this site is great- especially since you can build a wonderful support network without ever leaving your house
Since working out in front of others is an issue, have you thought about getting some workout DVD's? the motivation is sometimes harder (the couch is much more inviting) but you can do alot at home- you just have to get up and move!
Feel free to send me a buddy request if you would like. best wishes on your journey!

Welcome to the FS community. There are many people here that are willing to help you through your weight loss journey. You are welcome to ask questions, all the community asks from you is that you do your best to lose weight in a healthy manor and understand that there are no quick fixes. Healthy food ideas and exercises you can do at home are abundant on this website. I think you can use your social phobia to your advantage. Many people have the opposite problem, they over eat when they are out socializing. You can cook, eat at home and start losing weight. Most importantly start learning about nutrition so that you can teach your young children. Feel free to email me directly if you need help starting and deciding how to incorporate healthy food.
This life style change is like yoga, it is a practice. Not everyday will be successful, but every day will allow you to get better.
Cheers,
Michelle
