Hello I hear on here that a person should watch how many atkin bars a person eats. So what I was wondering are the shakes the same as bars and should you watch how many you ENJOY??Bad Grin

unless they are 0 calories then you need to watch whatever you eat because that will contribute to your total calories intake. The Atkins products are no different except for their marketing hype

Ive heard that the bars and shakes can stall you. Many people cut them out and start to see the scale move again. I would just watch and see if there is something else you might be eating that your body just isnt burning off. You also want to make sure youre getting enough calories. Smile I hope this helps

The issue with the bars is that they have sugar alcohols in them, along with other artificial sweeteners. The shakes also have artificial sweeteners, but the flavors I have at home have no sugar alcohols.

Not only can the SAs create some digestive "disturbances," Embarassed but some individuals are sensitive to the SAs, as far as weight loss is concerned.

There's a vast difference between some of the Atkins products in terms of how many SAs are in examples: The Atkins Endulge Peanut Butter Cups have 11 g. SA in the 2 cups, the Nutty Fudge Brownie has 10 g. SA but the Peanut Caramel Cluster Bar has just 4g. SA.

hey thanks for the advice!!!! I dont eat barsbut if I do I will make sure they dont have SA. and yes I am trying to figure out what is blocking my weight loss so I think I will try not useing shake for a week or so.

I think it's weight related - not a standard of so many glasses. Plus some people then add in activity level and environment variables. There's tons of calculators online.
