Hey guys! I was speaking to my co-worker who has lost a ton of weight on a similar carb free diet. I asked her for some tips and she gave me a great trick for meeting my chocolate needs. Now this isn't close to the real thing but that little bit of chocolaty goodness curbed my craving! And this is something I can eat daily! All you need is:
1 egg (or 3tbs egg white)
2 tbs real unsweetened cocoa
1tbs sugar (or sweetener)
1 pinch of baking powder
*Add low carb nuts for extra flavor or crunchiness*
Mix it up really well in a microwavable safe dish (small one) and put in microwave for 1 minute. Let it cool for a few minutes and enjoy! The texture threw me off a bit but if you love chocolate as much as I do and want a snack that's just under 10g carbs, you wont mind
Id love to hear some different variations!

I add a bit of butter and maybe cream when i make that or else the unsweetened cocoa is too strong for me. I am on Atkins so I use some kind of liquid sweetener to lower the carbs.
It is good for an occational snack. It often is my weekend treat.

We tried this and it though it's not amazing cake, it's reasonably good. It's something that works at a pretty low calorie/carb cost. Thanks for the tip. I think I'll have another one tonight...

My answer to water retention is Alfalfa Tabs. I take 3 a day and find they are a natural diuretic and work great for me. No more water balloons.
