Being active, a healthy weight, and eating a healthy diet are the general ways to reduce your risk of the most common U.S. cancers, along with heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic illness.

Good article. Esophageal cancer is very scary; I know quite a few people that live with tracheal tubes. I've often thought about the relationship between obesity and longevity of life - you don't see a lot of 90 year old fat people.

Good article Helewis. My hubbie had a cancer in his leg 25ish years ago... At the time, he was young, healthy, active and ate a good diet. BUT... I am so aware, that a c**p lifestyle, can account for lots of diseases - not just cancer. The more,we know about the causes, the more we are in controlnof our destiny Smile. Thanks for posting

Your diet sounds super extreme. Are you sure you are losing fat and not just water and precious muscle? Doesn't sound like a great idea, but hey if it works for you then go for it.
