Or office is habitually filled with bowls of jelly beans, M&Ms, pretzels, granola bars, chocolate, and other junk food. There are two big jars of this stuff at the front desk, and lots of people also have the stuff on their cube walls to share. One guy brings in a big box of donut holes twice a week.

One of the other engineers has taken to going to Safeway at lunch. In addition to whatever he's having for lunch, he picks up an assortment of mushrooms, carrots, cucumbers, grapefruit, apples, asparagus, bananas, or whatever else happens to look good that day.

It's nice to be able to walk by and grab a big chunk of cucumber or something to munch on and no have to worry about whether it's healthy.

My office is the same, without the guy who brings good stuff. I only have to go in two days a weeks but there is always cake, doughnuts, candy ,cookies, chocolate...everything that I can't eat. It is getting eaiser to pass it by and not even look. There is that little voice in my head that stills says "just have one" but I know with me that is not going to happen. I will eat until I'm sick.
