going on my third week. on the atkins far i lost ten lbs. i know its not the best diet,but its the only one working for me. yeah!

Congrats on the 10 lbs. That is great. But why would you say that it isn't the best diet? You should be eating at least 12-15 carbs in veggies a day. Veggies are good and, yes, this does work. That is why I eat low carb.
I'm thinner today than I was yesterday but not as thin as I will be tomorrow. One day at a time.

Congrats on the loss!
Have you read any of Dr Atkins' books? I've read a couple of them and think that this WOE is very healthy. I have never tried to eat this much vegies. I think it is the best way of eating I've ever tried. I feel so much better after this past month!

I don't make it to 10-15 carbs worth of veggies a day but I now eat some green veg everyday. I've never done that before. I could have, in the past, gone days with out eating any fruit of veg. And when you can dip it in yummy dips or guacamole or drizzel it with butter-who can resist? My Sister went OFF on how unhealthy this diet is and thanks to reading the book and FS site, I now know how to fight back. It is not unhealthy! Drink lots of water to clear the ketones from your kidneys. What's unhealthy is all of us being so overweight! Thanks to Adkins, I'm healthier!

with you having your food journal set to private, nobody can have a look to possibly see where you may be going wrong..... also, if you aren't losing on the scales try using the tape measure, sounds ...
