I'm looking for ideas for breakfast. I don't like eggs and I can not tolerate much dairy. Does anyone have other ideas? I work full time so I'd like to try something not too much of a fuss but that will not derail my weight loss goals.

Thanks.

Oatmeal with fruit, fruit in general, bagel thins (mini bagels) with crushed fruit on it, heck... have a piece of pre-cooked chicken and veggies if you're in the mood Smile Pretty much anything goes as long as you exercise a little and eat within reason. I'm always crazy rushed in the mornings as well, good luck!

A slice of toast with Baked Beans or sardines or tuna also works. And maybe a fruit for later ...

Poultry sausage, maybe with steamed frozen veggies is another option. I don't know if you are trying to do low carb or not, but protein is good at helping you feel fuller longer.

I eat chicken legs for breakfast a lot. They are great and they have their own handle.

Toast and baked beans! Laughing

Oatmeal is always good. This morning I made sausage links and placed in a whole grain tortilla with a splash of avocado lime dressing.

You could also eat any type of meal replacement or breakfast bar.

50 g sultana bran, with a banana and 200 ml soya milk. It tastes good and has a lot of fiber, it keeps you going for the whole morning with just about 300kcal.

A favorite for me is turkey sausage patties on either a bagel thin or 100 cal English muffin with an apple on the side.

I wish I was more of a morning person, but for me, quick is best, especially since I was more prone to skipping breakfast in the past..

cereal bar and coffee, or a breakfast protein shake usually works for me - constantly on the go. Eventually, I'd love to get to a place where I can do eggs or actually cook my breakfast...

My fav is instant oatmeal with one scoop chocolate protein powder, mixed together. Add hot water and cover for 30 seconds. Last, add 1 tbsp of peanut butter and stir. So good.

Since I've been watching my food intake, I've been eating a bowl of cottage cheese with diced tomatoes every morning. Add some salt and pepper and a piece of fruit and you're done

I have a toaster oven, so I melt an ounce of cheese on a muffin, 1/2 bagel, or slice of wheat bread.

I am loving oatmeal for breakfast right now. Because of the fiber, it has staying power and you can change what you add in each day so it doesn't get boring. Smile

Belvita breakfast biscuits. Comes in a pack of four filling biscuits which is one serving. Packs 18g of fiber so very filing. Ready to eat on the go. I enjoy the blueberry ones, they are sweet enough to enjoy on their own with a glass of water and I'm not hungry til lunch.
