Boy !! did I blow it today, this was the first time since I started Atkins that I really went crazy.
I ate a biscuit at breakfast, then at lunch I did really well but after that I had 2-3 glasses of white wine and nuts, lot of peanuts and almonds. Now I am thinking what should I eat if anything, I feel like the mad sugar monster is rearing its head. Bad Bad day.

The first day I ended up eating 2 atkins bars and felt a bit better, but I also chugged a bunch of water and just avoided the kitchen. If there had been anything like biscuits in the house I don't think I could have dealt.

My only saving grace has been that in the past I took the time to portion out some things so I absolutely know what I'm doing and can't avoid it by guestimating my amounts.

My advice is keep keeping up on yourself - don't just toss today to the side and eat on the bad stuff. Make some bacon and eggs for dinner, drink as much water as you can handle, and distract yourself from the food. Its tough but you can do it! Good job holding yourself accountable, keep it up.

I'm living your pain. Since straying seriously during the holidays, I've been having a hard time getting back on track. But we have to see this as a lifelong journey, not a diet, so that one day--or even one moment--is not going to make or break us. We just keep going. I agree with Dani in just going on with dinner as if no slip happened.

Nobody got fat eating a cookie... It's the MANY infractions that are going to keep you from achieving your goal. So... like the others said... just get back to the basics. Your gonna have to eat light... calorie wise... but do eat and don't try to cut out completely cuz that won't work. If you are hungry between meals... eat a snack... 150 calories or so... so portion it out... eat it... and go do something else... walk... exercise... get out of the house. It worked for me... and it will work for you too!

Should you weigh yourself with or without clothes?
I weigh every morning after I come out of the shower, before I get dressed to go to work. As said before, consistency is key.

Joined my first challenge
Just joined my first challenge. I'm hoping this will finally get me motivated to lose my extra kilos. It's so hard to motivate myself to exercise when it's so darn cold outside.
