How often do you eat meat?

Hi there,

My hubby and I have been eating things like:

1. Celery with 2 TBS cream cheese
2. Baby dill pickle wrapped with cream cheese and a slice of deli meat
3. 1/2 a small avocado and a string cheese
4. Small salad with blue cheese dressing
5. An Atkins shake
6. 10 Green olives plus a slice of cheddar cheese
7. Olives stuffed with feta
8. Hard boiled egg and celery
9. Sliced cucumber w/cream cheese or other cheese
10. Deviled egg

These are just a few ideas - hope it helps!

If you eat enough meat, about 4-6 oz per meal or eat eggs you will not feel hungry. Have some lettuce that also give some fibers. Another thing that keeps you from getting hungry is fat.
Feel free to look into my food diary and how I eat (not that I would be perfect). The snacks are spread out throughout the day.

For snacks, I've been enjoying pork rinds, SF Jello with or without homemade whipped cream, Atkins chocolate coconut bar, olives with feta, Diet A&W mixed with Heavy Cream, avocados with salt and pepper, and now that I'm past 2 weeks, macadamia and pistachio nuts. Sometimes just coffee or tea with cream.

Glad you liked it! I actually found that idea from someone else here on FS. They said you can add ice to it too, but I'm not a big ice person. Maybe in the summer.

Mine too. I can see why cream is usually associated with the best of the best (cream of the crop, Crème de la Crème, etc.).

You gotta watch the expiration though. I wish it wouldn't expire so fast. One carton I had opened I was using into the 2nd week. That is, until I poured some into my coffee one day and it was like this thick goopy syrup. I smelled the coffee and could tell the cream had gone bad. From now on just started buying a smaller carton. Not a biggie because I find I run to the store more often now that I'm on Atkins. Using so many fresh ingredients, I don't want anything to go bad, like the veggies.
