Anyone else unable to log in from android app?

Just signed up today and loved it, until everything stopped working.. Can't sign in from my phone, can't make any changes on the website without an error message.. foods I've added into the phone have disappeared.. ugh

Exactly the same for me.
Registered on my phone, entered all the details and my food for the day.
Logged in from computer, there was nothing there in my profile.
Now I cant sync from my andriod phone.
It just tells me "Member name or password mismatch."

I can't see my diet calendar on the website any longer. I hope FatSecret is able to fix this soon.

What is the app name? I can only find one called my diet coach on android. Is this it?

It's called calorie counter (by fat secret). The icon looks like a yellow scale with two foot prints on it.

I can't believe this is still a problem. I used this app before Xmas but couldn't log in on the Android app. I asummed the problem would have been fixed by now but it still doesn't work.

Hmm, let's think... could it be that the problem is with your phone and not the app/service since the vast majority of users appear to be able use the app, short of the occasional glitch.

Yes, sometimes, in areas of poor connectivity or high traffic, I get the occasional error but on the whole the app. has worked reliably for the last three months.

Have you tried un/re-installing the app or clearing the data? Try Settings | Applications | Manage Applications, scroll to the Calorie Counter application and tap it, select the "Clear data" button then the "Clear cache" button. This should remove any invalid data on the device for the app, it should now start afresh at the next launch.

Have you also tried accessing the FatSecret website from the device's browser to confirm that your device/service provider is not blocking the address somehow?

What about contacting tech. support, they helped me very promptly with a minor issue I had?

If all else fails, backup your data and factory reset the device.

I am also having problems syncing... username and password mismatch..... have cleared cache.

Also having same problem 'Menber name or password missmatch'. Does it on both my android phone and my iPad but I can login via the browser on both devices using exactly the same credentials. This appears to be a problem for a few people. It would be nice to get a response on this forum from someone in Fatsecret as to whether they are taking the problem seriously or whether they are just accepting that some people are having problems. If it is any help my problem appears to have happened after a password rest on the site but this may be a coincidence

It may have something to do with password strength? I changed my password to what would be considered weak and I am logged in now.
I only used letters/numbers combo.
