Ollie's making sense. I started my journey at 247# (5 foot 10.5 inches) and a body fat % of 41; that was Sept 1 - now I am at 206 and 28 or 29%, I've always been good at recording but only the last month at balancing nutritional input. In October - my DOC told me to be sure and get 144 grams of carbs cause I was sorta high protein low carb, adn she explained that I was metabolizing muscle beacuse of it. Then, on Jan 7 I got a full body fat scan (I'll post where and how later) and it gave me a very precise picture - that process calcualted that I needed about 155 grams protein daily - one gram per LEAN (not fat) pound of weight. Since then, I've been doing that but I have also been trying to keep below 10-15 % fat intake and that has need working well for weight loss. Lower fat intake tips are egg beaters (make a giant omelet that has almost no fat, with veg and lean ham) and also protein shakes for a quick pick up on protein with out massive quanitities of tuna and meat.....hope this helps....im shooting for 10-12 % BF which I think is 160-170 pounds. Good luck!!
