The good thing about Super Bowl is it falls almost at the mid way point of the biggest loser contest at my work. Last year I set a goal for the super bowl and I had to bust my butt to make it. I then tried to avoid the worst things to eat but I pigged out and drank a lot of alcohol. After that I locked in down for 30 days until the contest was over.
This year I actually started heavier so I am going all out and will not decide until probably the day before. A week after that I am going to a concert in Chicago so I may just use that as my mid competition blow up day.
Pain is a by-product of a good time.

If the Pats are in the Superbowl, it'll be a cheat day... otherwise, not worth it.

It's my first day back on the Atkins. I'll be surrounded by carb-eating Super Bowl nuts and I'm not partaking of either. Wish me luck!!

I don't have any interest in the Super Bowl and neither do my ladies, so I just went with a fast today. How's that for weird?

I'm going to go grocery shopping during the game, since all of the sports fans will be at home.

Heck NO!! I didn't cheat over Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years or any of the 8 family birthdays in January. Cheat over a lil' old football game - not me!!

I only have watched the commercials
and I totally cheated today. I allow myself a spike/cheat day every week or two. Tomorrow is back to work and the regular workout/lower carb routine, so I'm not too concerned.

I agree. I use my weekends to eat freely but not go over board. Monday thru Fridays are my serious days. Keep up the good work.
If it's not written down don't eat or drink it.

I went to a party. And, low and behold, there were a ton of low-carbers there! WOOT! I had an awesome dip that was buffalo spicy with veggies, some ham wrapped around pickle with cream cheese, cheddar, and pepperoni, wraps of meat and cheese and olives. OMG. I was on plan. Although I took a small taste of the off-plan cake I took, I did way way better than I hoped for!! And I cheered for me!
