Yes, you're keeping your calorie count reasonably low, but you're loading up on processed carbohydrates and relatively junky food. For breakfast, you're getting about six teaspoons of sugar on the days that I looked at. I don't see much of anything on your diet calendar that resembles a fresh vegetable.

I'm not one of those people who thinks that carbohydrates are evil, but balance is a good thing. Maybe start with a couple of small changes? I'd recommend:

- replace your carb-laden breakfast with eggs and some fresh fruit
- get rid of the cake, graham crackers, soda, cookies, cereal bars, etc. and replace them with healthy snacks

I bet that if you made those two changes, the pounds would start dropping off.

well if you saw what I ate before you would say I am doing great.. I was a big big snacker and all the wrong things. So I think I have cut down alot. I drank a soda one day (sprite) because I have severe acid reflux and that is the only thing that gives me relief. And the cubcake it was my bestfriends b-day! But I get what your saying. thanks for the input

Try sparkling water with a spritz of lemon or lime juice rather than the soda. Do that once a day and you'll save about 3000 calories per month.

There's nothing wrong with having the occasional piece of cake as a treat.

I agree don't get discouraged. Maybe you just haven't found the exact right balance in calories, fat, and carbs. If you slowly work on it you'll find what works for your body! I had done atkins this summer for 3 months and only lost 10 lbs working out 5 days a week. Atkins was what I used to always do so I was surprised when it was so slow when I was trying so hard! Well I gave up. I regret it, but now I found a balance that is working so far. Give it time your going to do great!
