I am determined to stay on Weight Watchers this week. I have done well so far today. Ha-ha. But I filled out my diary for what I plan to eat today and it only comes to 883 calories! I am supposed to eat 22 points (old method). Why are the calories so low, yet I'm always hearing about eating enough calories-like 1500. Thoughts?

I am not sure if I have an exact answer but it may have to do with the fact that since ww doesn't restrict you to what you eat it is leaving wiggle room just in case all the points come from not so healthy choices. Just a thought..Don't get me wrong I am a supporter of ww. I did it years ago and almost made it to my goal weight but when I was only counting points I never paid enough attention to what I was eating. I thought I had a healthy diet but I know now that there was so much I didn't know. This may not be the case for you but it was for me. I'm not saying I have it down to a science now but I'm learning more and more each day and changing my diet accordingly.
