Hi I joined in March but I have not been active. I am 41 and I am ready to loose the weight. I have a long way to go so right now I am concentrating on loosing 5 pounds at a time. I really hope I can loose 5 pounds a month with dedication and focus!!!! I am also looking for a buddy.

Hi, I just turned 41 too!
I also have a long term goal of 130.
Today I weigh about 178.
AND Im also aiming for about 5lbs a month!
So I would love to be a buddy.
Ive been trying (not concistantly) for over 5yrs. to lose and just keep gaining. Now that my kids are old enough to occupy themselves for a while I have time to work out and plan/prepare meals etc. ME TIME. Im not used to it and it's taking a lot of effort to acutally get up and do what I NEED to do consistantly but Im doing it. Besides this past weeks gain (water, being a woman, who knows) Ive been doing well.

I just joined 2 days ago and will be turning 40 next month. I have sent invites to my friends to become buddies but they have not joined Sad I desperately need a "buddy" for support. How do I request you?

Overwhelmed!!!
Losing weight should help. Just think of the extra strain the extra pounds are putting on them.

do You 5:2 ?
I found 5:2 very good when I was working. I would take nothing to eat to work with me, come in in the evening, have my low cal meal (Weight Watchers or such like) and that was me for the evening. Now I ...

JUST WONDERING
To add to sweetmissy56 comments, you can use the FS set up a program to set your RDI to gain weight. To gain one pound a week, you have to add 3500 calories to you RDI(weekly) In other words, using 1440 ...

Hello and Help Please
I agree. Gaining 30 lbs in a month when you have actually been doing things to make yourself healthier is alarming to me. The water retention alarms me as well. If your doctor says there is nothing wrong, ...
