Many people here do Atkins. Check you "myfatsecret" and see the activity for people recording weight, diet, exercise and journals. There are also a few active groups around.

I've lost 110 lbs now the realistic way and have a real nice body composition. There are no short cuts. So many people try and fail.

Just keep that in mind and you'll win the battle and the war on fat.

One thing that helped me was thinking how much better I would enjoy that dessert if I was at the weight I wanted to be at. You will have many many more Sunday dinners and can enjoy your endulgences ...

Lovealark, you claim to be doing Atkins but I have to ask, have you read the books or online? your food intake does not go along with the Atkins plan. Perhaps this is the reason for your disappointing ...
