I need to change my eating habits as well as doing more exercise. I joined a gym a few weeks ago, and have been trying to quit smoking. It seems people here are very positive.

Welcome! this is a very useful sight, and the app is a very big help. Join a group for specific exercise motivation/challenges.

I'm also trying to change my eating habits. More fruits and veggies and out with sodas and sugary drinks. I'm trying to avoid processed food but i can't give up bread.

I know you can meet your goal because i started a bit higher than your starting weight and i am now 108 and i just bought my first size 0 jeans over the weekend. Yup i went from a size 10 to a zero. (well i have to admit i even wore size 12 at my lowest point)

So good luck! You can do it.

Anyway, family oriented, fun, gardening ALSO joined in August but did nothing much until this week... So, I just wanted to say hi.

I found that people are really supportive so make lots of buddies! Also, I checked out your 'diet'. It looks like good, habit changing and healthy stuff. I'm a 'changing my eating patterns' rather than 'diet' person too.

I am a size 9 and I usually have to keep comments to myself bc my friends get upset with me bc they say I dont need to lose weight. I know what makes me feel good and happy. I like this site bc I dont want to be judged. My biggest problem is that I have issues with my body image and I am trying to change it. I also drink a lot.
@woox2 I am also a hockey fan!!! I love the Flyers!! I am a big outdoors person and love being active. I just need to get rid of the people in my life that bring me down, and I know that this is a great first step.

But you are right, i knew what size i was before and i didn't feel comfortable until i went back. Even if everyone else did their best to make me feel good where i was.
Now my problem is the flabs. I'm wanting to really exercise to turn those flabs into abs. People get the wrong idea, i know i'm not "fat" but eating healthy has become a lifestyle and honestly it feels good. I feel great!
