i just finished induction a few weeks ago so feel free to ask me any questions...this is my first time around. the first week is tough to get through...at least it was for me cause i was craving carbs. i just took it day by day and WOW! i love the results!!!!

It is really important to follow the Phase 1 acceptable food list, which is available for free on the Atkins website.
65-70% of your calories should come from fat each day.
Each day you should have no more than 20 net carbs.
If you have a headache, cravings or feel bloated while in induction, try a half avocado sprinkled with salt before bed. Works like a charm!

I've been on Induction for almost nine months,Dr.s' orders,half way there,ask me anything if you need help.Watch the cheese,eat the veggies and easy on the Atkins products.If you get the headache,Atkins recommends chicken or beef broth,headache means your body is turning to fat burning mode and Atkins is naturally diuretic,so you lose the sodium.Drink the water.I spread my veggies over the whole day but mostly the first half,burn it early and relax the evening.

My plan is to get myself in ketosis then start my workout routine again. I need all the help I can get, I'm realizing this is more an emotional battle than I had thought.
