Hi! Day 2 of Induction today :)

Hi Everyone!

I'm a 32 year old working mom, with 2 young daughters. I have had trouble with low-fat, low-cal (high carb) diets in the past, and have once again reached my heaviest weight. I have started the Atkins WOE, and today is day 2 of induction. I am so surprised at how low my calorie count is! I have been eating all these rich, meaty delicious foods and am full, yet am stuggling to reach 1600 calories a day! I am down 5.5 lbs (From 8/31) and am so excited Smile I have about 100 lbs to lose so am planning on staying on induction for a while. Hope to get to know people doing the same thing as I am!

Welcome Niki! Congrats on your great start. If you have any questions just ask. Everyone here is so helpful and motivating. I've been on Induction for 5 weeks now. Just remember: eat when you're hungry and stop when you're not, don't worry too much about calories. Good luck!

Hi Niki. How great that you are liking it.
Don't forget to eat your veggies.

I think there are quite a few people here doing Atkins.

Probably lowering your calories by at least 500 a day and eating clean is your best bet.

Good for all of us who are trying to lose.. Only 2 pds this week. want more but I know that's not how it happens. Ive heard if ya loose it slowly it will stay off... 35 pds down since august 4, 2015. ...
